DON'T FORGET: OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY!
6:30pm Thursday, August 24th, SHEPARD PARK, Lake George, NY In the words of our own Hank Soto:
Never did I think where the Band was concerned I'd be referencing time in decades let alone 5. In that time we've met so many great folks who have encouraged and supported us.Nothing succeeds without that Love and that's the real reason for our longevity.
Thinking of all the venues we've played Shepard Park in Lake George is a standout Treasure. We are so grateful for the LGAP and the Town of Lake George for their continued support and the opportunity to Celebrate our 50th on that great stage.
Another 50yrs? If we could only Fool the Flesh. The Spirit is Willing.
WE WON ?!?!
For all who know us, we're celebrating 50 yrs. of musical kinship (1973-2023). We are honored, delighted and could not be more surprised by winning a Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Award in the category of "Best Country Cover Band" though we feel that there are so many of our friends who would be far more deserving. None the less, we are truly grateful. If nothing else, our fifty years of longevity has taught us to not “look a gift horse in the mouth" AND "take the gig “. Many thanks to all, the Stony Creek Band
It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our longtime friend, colleague and former member of the Stony Creek Band, Jim Schacher. All of our best wishes go out to his wife, Donna and the rest of the Schacher family. Rest easy, Earl.
